BLAKELY, Ga. — The Tennessee Valley Christian Community College Defenders return to action Saturday afternoon as they travel to Blakely, Georgia, to take on the Andrew College Fighting Tigers at Standifer Field.

Kickoff is set for 3 p.m.

Saturday's matchup marks the second meeting between the two programs, with Tennessee Valley looking to rewrite the story from their first encounter.

The Defenders faced Andrew College on September 6, 2025, falling 33-0 in last season's matchup. Nearly a year later, Tennessee Valley will have another opportunity to compete against the Fighting Tigers, this time with a new season and a new opportunity in front of them.

Tennessee Valley enters Saturday's contest 2-0 following a dominant 41-7 victory over Dega U and Conference win over CCC-South Carolina 24-20.

Andrew enters the matchup at 0-3 after opening its 2026 campaign against a challenging schedule. The Fighting Tigers opened the season against NCAA Division II Shorter University before facing Georgetown College and the University of Pikeville. Andrew most recently fell to Pikeville, 42-7, on September 12.

For Tennessee Valley, Saturday represents more than another game on the schedule. It is an opportunity to measure the progress of the program since last year's meeting while continuing to build on the foundation established in the season opener.

The Defenders will look to maintain the energy and execution from Weeks 1 and 2 while facing an Andrew team looking to earn its first victory of the season.
