Tennessee Valley Names Kelvis White Head Football Coach

HUNTSVILLE, Ala. — Tennessee Valley Community College has announced the hiring of Kelvis White as the program's new Head Football Coach.

White, a former standout football player at the University of Alabama and a well-known high school football coach in North Alabama, brings extensive playing and coaching experience to Tennessee Valley as the program enters its next chapter.

White becomes the second head football coach in Tennessee Valley program history.

A North Alabama native, White has built a reputation throughout the region for his work developing student-athletes and his impact on the football community. His experience as both a player and coach will bring a unique perspective to the Tennessee Valley program as the Defenders continue to establish their identity on and off the field.

As a former Alabama football standout, White understands the demands of competing at a high level and the importance of preparation, discipline and player development. His coaching experience at the high school level has also provided him with an extensive background in developing young athletes and preparing them for the next level.

White's appointment marks a new era for Tennessee Valley football as the Defenders continue to grow their program and provide opportunities for student-athletes to compete, develop and pursue their academic and athletic goals.

White will take over the Defenders program immediately and begin preparations for the upcoming season.
